A Bigger World is an award-winning,
interdisciplinary supplementary curriculum for
grades 7 through 12. The program was created
to provide teachers and their students with a
supplementary product that integrates key subject
area content with stimulating and thought
provoking activities that can be used
in the classroom or at home.
Each unit is delivered on CD-ROM
and is available as a stand-alone package or as lab-packs
in both Mac and PC formats.
In addition, each unit includes
printed guides for the teacher and student, a student
textbook, workbook, study questions, content-rich
curriculum, and more.
A Bigger World recognizes that not all learners
achieve success at the same pace or in the
same way. For this reason, we have developed
our products to challenge students with a
variety of ability levels. We teach practical
knowledge and have included multiple activities
for independent or collaborative learning. The
learner receives ongoing concept reinforcement
through a variety of teaching methods. Our
organized lesson assignments allow for self-paced
learning or team learning. And, the multi-
disciplinary approach provides a seamless
transition between subjects, helping the
learner to make the connection between events
and activities. Finally, we focus on real-world
applications that bring relevancy to potentially
complex lessons in subject areas such as math,
history, literature, music and science.
