about you except when you knowingly and specifically provide it
to us. Examples of when you voluntarily submit this kind of
information include when you fill out the technical support form,
make a purchase, sign up for product demos, or send us feedback.
In addition, if a customer decides to pay online for one of
our services or any of our products using a credit card, we will
need to collect a credit card number. This credit card number will
be processed immediately using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption.
If a customer wishes to order any of our products, but does not wish
to pay online using a credit card, there are a variety of other methods
for payment, including phone, mail, fax, and school purchase order.
From time to time, we may share personal information of
academic institutional customers/prospective customers with
Authorized Resellers for Wildridge so that they may provide you with
information about our products and services that may be of interest to
you. You can always advise us that you do not want your personal
information shared with these Authorized Resellers as indicated below
in the paragraph entitled "Controlling Your Personal Information".
We want to also advise you that in the event Wildridge
Software, Inc. is sold, your personal information, which is held in our database, is considered an asset of Wildridge Software, Inc. and will be sold as part of it.

You always have the ability to stop your personally identifying
information from being used for any purpose by sending us an email
to service@wildridge.com.
Security of Your Personal Information
We use industry-standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information, such as firewalls and Secure Socket Layer encryption with regard to credit card information. While your privacy is very important to us, due to existing technology, we cannot fully ensure that your private communications and other personal information will not be disclosed to third parties. Third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications. Additionally, in the unlikely event we need to investigate or resolve possible problems or inquiries, we can (and you authorize us to do so) disclose any information about you to private entities, law enforcement or other government officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate.
